Hugo Chavez Sings to Hillary Clinton
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez had some choice (and melodious) words for Hillary Clinton in a speech Wednesday. "I'm not loved by Hillary Clinton...and I don't love her either," he sang.

6. Flaky? Where do you get your information?
If it's from the mainstream media, then you've been drinking the Koolaid.

All our leaders should be so "flaky."

to discredit him. :)

16. Who's establishment? I get striaght news in Canada from a variety of sources. We've had Liberal
members of parlaiment that used to oversee elections in Venezuela, that are quite discourged about what Chavez is and has been doing. You Hugobots can't see reality with your Chavez coloured glasses on.

And there have been studies written by the BBC and by organizations here in the States about the media campaign against Chavez. I supposed you missed those, too. :)

Confident professionals don't need to sing stupid songs about their peers.

Unlike you, Chavez has a sense of humor about politics.

21. Why do you keep calling people out
Can't people have their own opinions with having you say shit about them? Does everyone have to base their beliefs on the the studies you like to read? I don't think he's professional and he's displayed it on several occasions. I'm glad he has the balls to stand up to some of the corporations but I would be embarrassed to have him represent me. If you want, you can try to think outside of your box or don't give a shit what Hugo criticizers have to say.

Or don't you think calling another poster a 'hugobot' is a personal attack?

29. Chavez is an embarassment. Any sane leader of a real government doesn't call other people
derogatory names. And they sure don't sing songs about how other people might not like them. It's more than just childish. It's hard to take him seriously when he's always acting like a clown. Not to mention that he uses fear to stoke support better than Bush could ever dream of! For Chavez, 911 = the coup, the patriot act = constitutional reforms, and terrorists = westerners/gringos.

34. Have you got a link to back up that claim?
I'd be interested in seeing it, not that I think it proves much of anything at all.

Hugobots? So anyone who doesn't froth at the mouth and go on about how terrible and evil Chavez is is a Hugobot? That's just silly. What I find interesting is that I've noticed that you appear to be a strong 'supporter' of Israel and its extremist and very right-wing government and that quite a few DUers who strongly support Netanyahu and his govt just as equally hate Chavez and his govt. It just seems rather hypocritical to me...

18.  PRESIDENTE HUGO CHAVEZ
I would characterize him as the greatest leader in the Americas - bar none! He is the only President of Venezuela to ever do a thing for the poor, and they love him for it too.

So he tricks them into voting for them, huh? Too bad they can't put people like you in charge of the poor mentally deficient Venezuelans, who amazingly think that they don't need to be under a corporatist boot.

I expect you're busy elsewhere, sticking up for the likes of Porfirio Lobo and Pinochet.

36. Nobody is further left than me, save maybe Mao Tse Tung, and he's dead.
I wouldn't know if he's never wrong because I don't know everything he thinks or feels, but there are mentally deficient people, on this forum in fact, who are delusional enough to think that they can red his mind from thousands of miles away.

Now THAT's mentally imbalanced, bubba!

10. all the world's oil is in a bid pool;
supply and demand dictates that regardless of who pumps it, the world markets will be able to sell it. Something you may not know, but if you are of an age to remember the crap the US went through to have the oil pumped from the north shores of alaska then you also know that all that oil is sold to japan. they pay more than we do.

8. Well, in the New World Order, democratically elected
presidents of oil producing countries who have the nerve to nationalize their oil industries, are now called 'dictators'.

For a while I was puzzled by that, but I figured it out. What the NWO crowd means is that they are dictators to Big Oil.

If only we had a few dictators to Big Oil here BP would not be running our national security policy.

Cheers for anyone who can dictate to Big Oil!

Oh, and yes if you listen very carefully, but with the 'right' mind-set, you probably will hear him singing about destroying the U.S.

28. Might mention also that Venezuela has a real democracy.
Even though they use voting machines, they audit about 50% of the vote on paper (or they did in Chavez's last election) to make sure the machines have not been rigged or screwed around with. Jimmy Carter's org monitored that election and pronounced it clean. By contrast, elections in the US are almost certainly rigged and tilted by using the voting machines. Take the recent SC Dem primary e.g.

No way to know for sure of course in a country which is not a democracy, i.e., the US.

When the vote is counted in total secrecy without verification it's impossible to have a democracy.
