Spring of 2009, a bipartisan commission was created. Last winter we passed legislation that we were told was all we could get. Last Friday this pediatrician participated in a Health Care Work Shop. The workshop was created to discuss the needs still not being addressed.

It is now known why there was a lack of participation from Dr. Dean ect....: The health care reform script was created before Senator Obama became President Obama. Last summer we witnessed a script, some refereed to it as Kabuki theater, but the steps we witnessed were written before the Presidential election. The corporate insurance insiders wrote what they wanted and then it was passed. It was a bail out for the insurance co. We were forced by these insurance corporations into their market model that puts money ahead of the patient.

2. Anybody who pays attention to what's going on in other countries Must be amazed at how
little the American People are willing to accept. We are indeed World-Class Chumps. And we're damn proud of America being number 1!

If we're so fucking exceptional why can't we support our citizens at least as well as Euro's treat European citizens?

I'm pissed and so should all of you be. We aren't here just to rule the World, there's got to be something in it for the citizens.

4. For profit health care is very silly.
Yes, the whole 'debate' was a slight of hand, the end was know from the start. No real reform was ever on the table, only an expansion of corporate commodification of an essential service. For profit health care is very silly. Just like money making money,. or the usury in the banking scam system,. sad most people jsut dont see the problem or are too brainwashed you even imagine any other way of life,.

5. Global Health care network run by Barbara Bush the daughter of George W. Bush.
They want new college grades, and they want to inspire young people to go into health care. While traveling in Africa Barbara Bush was exposed to those in need of health care. So she formed Global health care, and she is saying health care should be a right. Along with her uncles insurance co. Those two Bush's found a need and are filling it. Google is helping finance this operation.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/06/13/barbara-bush-health-care_n_610545.html

" Athena Health thinks of itself as the ADP or Paychex of the medical world - a high-tech outsourcer that handles the nasty business of insurance-bill submissions and record-keeping for doctors the way those companies take care of payroll services for big employers. Other companies sell do-it-yourself billing software to doctors or process claims for a fee; Athena combines the two models. Bush makes his web-based software available more or less free, promises a higher rate of bills successfully processed, and takes a cut (5.25 percent on average) of each one paid." http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/fortune_archive/2007/01/22/8397973/index.htm

Now when you hear any bush say they are glad health care reform passed and you know their pocket books are in on the reform, you most likely are not to surprised by their comment. In fact anybody who is affiliated with an insurance co., and I do consider Global Health Care network an insurance co. and this young women the head of it, is quite satisfied with the passage of this bill.

Is health care a right if private backers reap good returns, or can it also be considered a right when our taxes are used to pay for equal access?

6. all Harry Reid has to do to get re-elected is to simply quote his Teabagger-backed opponent,
Sharron Angle, verbatim.

ANGLE: He’s 87 years old and has Parkinson’s and we have to pay more and more for his healthcare. I know he pays over 800 dollars a month in prescription drugs that we can’t get through his VA nor through Medicare — they just wont cover those things. And I know lots of seniors –

BECKER: Should they cover those things?

ANGLE: No, not if you’re working towards a privatized system. And he can pay for them. That’s my whole point. Even with the system we’ve got, it’s broken, its not covering for every cost that he has. And if he were dependent upon that, he wouldn’t be getting the healthcare he needs and that’s why we need to fix the system.

Now this position is perfectly consistent with someone who wants to kill Social Security, but it’s not likely to win many votes outside of the teabagging right.

That Harry Reid is a lucky guy.http://firedoglake.com/
