2. Part of the problem is President Obama's "No Drama Obama" style.
Edited on Wed Jun-23-10 05:17 AM by breadandwine
Nobody takes him seriously because he doesn't show passion while the GOP does. Obama doesn't know how to use spicy language and show emotion. On one occasion Obama used the term "kick ass." But all he did in that comment was ask who the questioner WANTED him to kick ass. That is NOT dramatic style.

And why did Obama's staff have to show him videos of what was going on in the Gulf? Doesn't he know how to use a computer? How come I, with my little computer, constantly feel like I know more about what is going on in the Gulf than Obama does?

4. because you only have your little life to worry about
not an entire nation.

I don't want an hysterical leader performing before cameras. The office of the presidency does not need to be dragged down to some third-rate reality show level.

I do not believe that Obama needs to provide those without amusement the means by which to entertain themselves. If you need drama, TNT.

3. K&R
Thom is absolutely right, the MSM dictate what the story line will be for these big stories and frame the content to fit that story. They do this with everything.
