like I did when I said "Jonathan Edwards." It was actually John Winthrop about 100 years earlier. Anyway, anyone vaguely familiar with US history should know the concept of America (and more specifically Massachusetts) as a shining city on a hill goes way back to before the Declaration of Independence. Out of everyone on Palin's staff who looked over her "speech" no one had the wits to say "Wait, these aren't Ronald Reagan's words."

How about telling it like it is. Sarah Palin is a waste of America's time. She has nothing of value or insight to offer. No solutions of any kind for any of America's problems. No vision of any kind.

She's full of vague happy talk about America, conservatism and the GOP. She blathers Ronald Reagan stories and she promises to "shake up Washington DC" and that's about the gist of her act. There's nothing more to see or hear and there never has been or will be.
