If that is Clinton's defense of Obama, then we are in lousy shape.

That's what Clinton supports.

Rowing in the same boat as BP, because they are the experts, blah blah, is tantamount to a president abdicating his leadership role.

If Obama doesn't want to be the leader, if he doesn't want to be president, if he doesn't want to be the Democratic wing of the Democratic party, he can always resign and go back to Chicago. Him and Biden. Let Pelosi take over. She's next in line of succession. Really. Let a Democrat take over.
