I've heard this talking point so many times from the right I'm sick of it.
Since when is TV ownership a measure of how well off a person is? Maybe that's why things are getting so bad; the right wing nuts think everything is fine because they see all the TVs that are out there.:banghead:

What they are saying is that the poor are poor because they spend their money unwisely, with the coralary being that YOU are paying for the TVs because of welfare.
