2. It is, IMO, Good but not "Excellent."

I don't want a pony. Again, IMO, the DLC should be proudly giving out the financial numbers (savings) that Americans would realize by enacting Universal Health Care.
Instead, we (Democrats), with a "super majority" (at the time), refused to allow the GAO to even "give" its' report to Congress about Universal Health Care.
If "we" had done this, then it would have informed Americans, in a non-partisan way, about the actual dollar savings we would realize and the American lives we can save and greatly improve, by enacting the legislation.
Our leaders "took it off the table." That was a major dis-service to Americans.
Being able to medically treat ALL Americans, while SAVING MONEY, and not informing people is criminal.
Can anyone tell me what positive contributions to our society (for profit) health insurance companies provide?
They negotiate cheap prices for their customers, from providers, yet those providers charge triple the money to the uninsured.
Am I the only person that thinks this is totally opposite of what should occur?
Currently, if the uninsured were charged the same amount for health care that the insurance companies are, then many people who cannot afford (for profit) insurance, could afford to be treated and cured of their illness.
I don't want a pony, I do want to live in a compassionate, fair (where the wealthy are not "special") society.
The rethugs actually use "Western European Style SOCIALISM" to SCARE voters with. The DLC should explain why this system works and why those countries have happier, healthier citizens, a more stable economy, they earn alot more money (than the 98% majority of Americans), they get 6-8 weeks annual PAID leave from work and they have more civil rights than Americans do.
They (DLC) should also inform us that the "Western European Style SOCIALISM" was based on the American system, after WWII, when people came before profits....

3. Once again another web ad that won't reach Middle America.

The DNC continues to shoot with blanks. They haven't got the BALLS to run ads on TELEVISION that cost MONEY. This is another wimpy attempt to cheer up the netroots and the base while continuing the slide toward GOP takeover in the Fall. Who is going to see this ad besides those on our side who are already convinced? While the right wing swamps us on mainstream TV, we are futzing around putting out web ads that few will see and the average truck driver will never see while he watches a TV set in the local bar.

This is FAKE FIGHTING.

The DNC has been putting out these web ads for a while and it hasn't caused a flicker in our direction in the polls because it doesn't hit Joe Sixpack where he lives. There are no DNC ads on sports programs and the like.

THEY ARE SHOOTING WITH BLANKS.

This is all to mollify and shut up the Democratic base while they continue DLC business as usual and continue to chuckle and shrug while the GOP bashes our lights out.
