7. Got stuck in Barstow once for two days - couldn't stand it, hopped a freight train |
|
Edited on Fri Jul-30-10 02:58 PM by GreenTea
to get the fuck out of there...ignorant hateful people, 100 plus degrees everyday absolutely nothing around but sand & sheriffs - I couldn't get the fuck out there fast enough, unfortunately the end of the line for the freight train I hopped took me to another hell hole Neddles, CA
Man, that's another whole depressing stuck out in the middle of nowhere story....not to mention other some rat hole I got stuck in called Victorville!

site at the end "give us are money .org". He is definitely a conservative Republican perhaps even a Teabagger.

4. He didn't say anywhere in this video he is leaving his chosen party. |
|
He says the conversation should be bipartisan but he clearly says in the video he is a conservative Republican and has been since he was 18.

5. Elucidate, anyone out there, what is "overthrow 2010"? |
|
He mentions this early in the video (I would like to stand together with overthrow 2010").Is this the Teabaggers' official verbiage?

I love it when they follow the party line blindly like nazis until they personally get screwed and then it's "wah, wah, wah I no likey' I didn't even bother listening to the video because I've seen losers like him before - happy as a pig in poop when they're getting theirs at the expense of others. But mercy teacups, when they experience the same thing they whine like 2 year olds.

8. Baby steps. I'm glad he is starting to see the light. |
|
He needs more information, but I bet if he gets it, he'll be on the right side of most issues. (Most people with decent hearts are.)

9. This young man is the perfect example of the kind of guy that |
|
the Republicans dupe into joining their tribe. And, understand, when a young man who shares not one interest with one of the fat cats in the Republican Party says he is a Republican, he says it out of a sense of tribal loyalty -- of belonging. He has no idea whatsoever, no understanding of what being a Republican or being a Democrat is about. For him, being a Republican is a matter of belonging to the dominant tribe in his area.
Poor guy. He really should get his unemployment. But he needs to get out of Barstow and learn more about the world. Then he will be able to make up his mind whether he wants to be a Republican or a Democrat. I wonder how many real Democrats he knows?
Anybody feel like driving out to Barstow and having a beer or a soft drink with this young man?

13. We need some young Democrats from the LA area to go out there |
|
door to door or at a local open-air market or event and listen to people and talk to them about the problems of the people in the area and the issues and what Democrats have to offer.
Any Democrats from Barstow on DU?
