3. Same for Beck. He also has an upcoming book. |
|
And the people in our country who are too weak to live a meaningful life without attaching themselves to some sort of "public figure" will attend the rally, or watch the clips on TV, and but the books, and Beck and Palin will sit back, smile, and sigh "Mission Accomplished."

These people (Teabaggers) can't properly make a sign without Typos, how the hell are they supposed to READ a book? Unless they buy the book to put on a shelf or coffee table. Then again, maybe Beck and Palin use simple words.. still if reading is Elitism to these people, how do they get past the first chapter??

That's my sister, the one who hasn't spoken to me since 2003.
That's exactly what she does. She buys this stuff and spreads it around the house and has Fox News on 24/7 because living in that bubble relieves her of the burden of having to think for herself.

Here's is really my understanding of her message:
Mothers throughout history really like sending their children off to death and injury in Service to their Country.
Using American Ideals of Honor and compassion serving in times of War gets you killed by an "un-american enemy".
Has the possibility of advancing humanity beyond that of perpetual war ever entered her low information mind??
Did she consider the possibility that women do not like to sacrifice the lives of their children to serve in aggressive and unnecessary wars of choice that only seemingly are supported by the less than .1% minority wealthy power elite? (Apologies for the poor sentence structure)
IS she suggesting that American Torture is justified because our "enemy" doesn't hold themselves up to our high American Ideals? "The Tali ban will kill you for not killing them, YOU BETCHA!
Are we supposed to send our treasure to die when some future government administration propagandizes another war of choice:
THE WAR ON DANDRUFF

5. She is using every political cliche in the book. |
|
Not a convincing speech and rather awkward feeling.

10. Did you notice the awkward silence when she referred to Abraham Lincoln as the "great Emancipator?" |
|
The silence was deafening, and she had that look of "yeah, yeah... I am supposed to say this wink wink."
It is an ironic speech from someone married to a member of a secessionist organization, and who said she was "forced" to transfer from one of the schools in Hawaii because of its overwhelming number of minorities enrolled.

12. It was a shameless bit of pandering- |
|
"Hey look at how we love black people"- I was at this thing and the the irony was not lost on me when they had a black gospel singer up on stage singing about unity to an overwhelmingly white crowd. There were 50,000 people or more at this thing, and I could count on my fingers the number of black people I saw there. And I wasn't sitting in one place either, I was roaming around.
Never mind. Sarah got her 75 Gs for this little speech. (A bit on the low side for her- she probably gave them a discount since it's a Fox event) No wonder Beck was on TV crying for money. None of these Republiturds does anything for free.

I watched the entire 5:14. What a piece of work she is. And she didn't even use a teleprompter. Take that NObama. LOL! Good thing she had notes, because that wouldn't have fit on her hand.

Man, who wrote this crap? Clunk, Clunk, Clunk.... The speech has no rhythm and she is butchering any tiny bit of poetry in it. Reminds me of the George H.W Bush line "Thousand Points of Light" only she had to throw in war and death for people to think it was patriotic.
