Does Bush want war with Iran to cover colossal blunder?

I just had to comment on Bush's speech before the Foreign Legion where he threatened to attack Iran... but WHY? In the same speech, he talked about how much BETTER things are getting in Iraq.

I surmise that he's really afraid that Iraq will befried Iran over the U.S., making the result of his invasion a colossal blunder so freaking enormous that even the most loyal Bushie would turn on him.

3. Armed the Shiites...looked at Iran and went..oh.no...then armed the Sunnis

Saudis are predominately Sunni like most of the middle east. Slowly realized why we had supported Sadam with weapons years ago.
So yeah, starting to realize that thanks to his efforts he has made Iraq/Iran best buddies so now wants to attack Iran. A total blunder that he will only succeed in making worse. We just can't get him out of office quick enough.

If he makes any move against Iran without getting Congressional approval first, Congress needs to impeach his butt that afternoon.

Could anyone been SO disconnected from reality that... with our military stretched to the breaking point... would decide now is the time to EXPAND the war in the Middle East and pick a fight with a country four times the size of Iraq with a rested and ready million man army???
