'A reaction to Christian hypocrisy about gay marriage, this is an agitprop production -- it's political in nature, designed to call into question the double standards applied by many Christians. The idea of Mark 7:3 is a primary theme in this piece: "Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye?"

"Malakoi" is a Greek word, found...'

1. Brilliant, though it has a couple stupidly inaccurate Biblical references
The 1 Kings 14 thing about oral sex isn't in that verse at all - it's about male temple prostitutes, and says nothing about oral sex, nor does it use the word sodomite.

The Mark 10:2-10 that it says is about stoning a son who doesn't obey is actually about how one should not divorce.

Otherwise, though, great stuff! I really wish my fellow hate-filled Christians would let go of the homosexual thing and just not care, like they should. People are the way God makes them, and Christians should be concerned about spreading love and feeding the poor. Shut up, already, you ass clowns.

2. True, I did think it on balance a noble piece...
I sometimes wonder while sitting round the 'idea session', when folks get the sense that, "Hey cool!! This is turning out really nice!" a couple cold pieces of pizza later and the concept is left to drift as though it will complete itself, or maybe people get tired and their eyes glaze over so things are missed

Seen it happen with theater. Though at least with theater you have rehearsals so...

And I do agree. It's well past time for a boat-load of people to dummy-up

3. 144,000 Virgins
According to the bible, God wants 144,000 male virgin jews. Maybe there is more to the story. Personally, I love women and don't believe in the koran, torah, bible or other religious inventions.

Selling a religious idea against established dogma is like screwing for virginity. It ain't gonna happen.

4. Really? God wants 144,000 male virgin Jews, according to the Bible?
I'm curious where that is in the Bible, or what Bible you are talking about, because it certainly ain't in the Jewish scriptures or the Christian ones.

7. Virginity is a requirement

Revelation 14:4 (New International Version)

These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure.

The bible actually gets more interesting when you read the parts preachers like to ignore. Ludicrous statements like this led me into researching other religions and history before becoming atheist.

8. 'new international version' is not imo an acceptable substitute for the Hebrew...

9. Agreed
Although they may not be acceptable translated substitutes, I wouldn't consider the torah an "authority" on anything. The torah has its own flaws. Belief in giants(Genesis 6:4), unicorns(Deuteronomy 33:17.), and dragons(Numbers 21:6)are absurd especially when there is no supporting archaeological evidence.
