I thought he might be coming around. But the old bastard is as reprehensible as ever.

Just go away, Newt.

2. Does anyone pay any attention to what he says anymore?
After reading that article by his ex-wife, not that I had a high opinion of him in the first place, all I can say is that if someone like him could make it to be Speaker of the House while lecturing the country about morals, this country is in way worse shape than I realized.

They have no shame. I think every time he opens his mouth, someone should produce that article by his ex-wife and ask 'is anyone interested in what this man has to say'?

Despicable human being.

4. "the Great Depression party" is the GOP
Best reply

Or

The hunger party (12 million now in hunger due to GOP cuts to FS's , since
'80.)

FS need to be revitalized.. USDA says
another 37 million "live on the edge of hunger".

Any wonder we can't win the hearts and minds of nations we send the army to?
They see the mass hunger here. And
mass poverty... Up fifty percent during
RR.

6. Thank you Newt, the programs helped alot of real people unlike the corporate welfare you
and the rest of the GOP support in varies ways (mostly under the guise of "defense" spending) so again thank you.

7. It's Newt's party that makes people poor, and leaves the Democrats to keep them from starving.
By the way, a study by a financial analysis company found that food stamps create $1.73 of economic activity for every dollar spent on the program. Tax cuts for the rich created 49 cents of economic stimulus per dollar. Tha-a-a-a-at's right! Food stamps make a better economic stimulus program than tax cuts for the rich, by more than a factor of 3.
