2. Generally speaking, Ohio has pretty much been fairly close

in post-war elections ... didn't go for JFK in 1960, but "flopped" mildly for Johnson in 1964 ...

but also held Dem senators for quite some time ... don't have the numbers handy ...

3. Still makes me sad

We tried so hard. I was at one of the rallies in that clip-- two days before the election and we were so hopeful. I was also at the 'victory' party unsuccessfully trying not to cry. Ohioans have taken too much blame, so I hope people watch this movie and will see how dedicated we were. Personally, two years later and I'm not ready to watch it yet.
