On election day, Thom Hartmann interviewed Citizens United president David Bossie. (As you may know the Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission Supreme Court case granted corporations First Amendment rights and has been very controversial as it's seen as equating money with speech.) Hartmann presses Bossie to admit that the Supreme Court was wrong to allow foreign corporations to donate to American political campaigns.

1. PLEASE ... give us a clue as to what happened .... ????
it's really not always possible to watch a video --

some TEXT is helpful -- just some idea of what went on.

:)

3. Thanks! ... now did you learn anything about the issue you didn't know before?

Hartmann is usually terrific at giving greater insight into subjects he covers!!

I'm having trouble listening from my car now -- really poor reception --

don't know if its just something about my town -- doesn't seem to be my radio otherwise/???

4. Responding:
1. I think that I did here (this is my 2nd time listening to this) and for pretty much anything that Hartmann talks about especially when he debates conservatives.
2. If you live 40 or more miles from the nearest major city or media market area that's why you don't get good reception. Use the website radio-locator.com to determine which stations you can listen to whether you're in the big city or middle or nowhere.

5. Listening on the internet is fine -- but think they put up so many cell phone towers around here...

that it's creating constant static with my car radio as I drive within my

town and other nearby towns. If I'm on the Garden State Parkway, it's OK.

Will try to actually get to this discussion -- really like Hartmann.

In fact, he began a very interesting discussion the other day about 40 members

of Congress controlling our issues though they have only 16% of the population!

Hartmann was suggesting that NY state perhaps should be two states -- 4 Senators.

Same with California -- split into North and South and have 4 Senators.

Think it's a great idea!!
