1. Well said!
I hate all the extra security at the airports but hate the idea of another 911 even more.

2. But the scanners and the pat-down are not effective -
so they do nothing to prevent another 911.

3. True, but they have made some people extremely wealthy
over the past year. One of them a good friend of the president.

If we could find a way to make protecting our Constitutional rights as profitable, we would be a truly free country and there would be little talk of 'terra'.

4. Pat Downs
The scanners are one thing, but the pat downs HAVE to make it more difficult to smuggle a bomb onto a plane. Personally, I'd like the US to go the Israeli route and interview everyone before they board.

5. why do people keep say that?
In Israel, u have to be at the airport 4hrs before your take off time and screener and interviewers are not exactly minimum wage worker. Implementing the Israeli method in the US would cost a lot of money and time that would be even more annoying that this pat down. I think the best strategy is to figure out why people want to blow us up (no, its not because of our freedom) and work to resolve it. Its high time we start treating the disease instead of the symptoms
