I love being able to piss people off with a cheerful "Happy Holidays". I used th hate the holidays, I would stay at home to avoid the crowds. Now I can run around and say "Happy Holidays" to everyone I meet. Decent people smile and greet you back and foxbats take it for the flick behind thear it's meant to be. Who knew Faux "news" could degrinch my Chr.... I mean holiday.

5. One complaint prompted the change of a parade's name? |
|
No wonder people are mad. That's ridiculous. Apparently all that anyone needs to do now is call and complain about the parade's new name, and they'll change it back. And so on, and so forth.
If it's traditionally been a Christmas Parade, it should stay that way, barring some uprising of the people or shown overtly discriminatory name. People should chill. It's just a Christmas Parade. Christmas is traditional in our country. You don't even have to be a so-called Christian to participate. I know Jews who celebrate Christmas, not because of the religious aspect, but because it's tradition.
