3. Gee, when you explain it like that.... |
|
... how can I argue? I mean, hey, assertions that aren't backed up in any way trump the facts every time, right?

A gazillion angels can dance on the head of a pin. But beyond the opinion you might try watching Rachel's clip on this.

have to vomit something out, just watch this video. I barfed as soon as he got to the 'how are we going to grow our economy?' without giving the billions to the rich. I'm confused(NOT) because I thought the economy was growing, according to these mouthpieces. I'm confused(NOT) because I thought the recession actually ended sometime last year according to these mouthpieces.
Maybe they're right - maybe the recession ended as soon as the 2nd depression began...
Actually, the 2nd depression never really ended once it began on bush's watch..

Raygunomics trickle down doesn't work. Stop the insanity. Anyone suggesting it works should be imprisoned at GITMO for treason.

11. Btw, Obama used to use a chalk board when he taught Constitutional Law |
|
at the University of Chicago Law School - long before anyone ever heard of Glenn Beck.
p.s. And regarding Beck - I've always thought that Beck is trying to out do Tim Russert's 'white board'.

7. A whiteboard on economics by an expert without numbers? |
|
Pretty meaningless.
Problem with that presentation is that there is no discussion of the amount of money that is estimated to go to the top 2% versus the amount of money going to the bottom 98%. And no discussion about how that money is to be divided.
I note that the many, many Americans on Social Security are not mentioned in that presentation.
The devil is in the details on this one. And the White House presents no details here. Im always willing to listen and watch, but so far I'm not sold. Not at all. I wish I could be sold, but I'm not.

8. what he doesn't mention is that |
|
with the 900billion in tax breaks for the rich this could have provide several million jobs - meaning - they wouldn't need the column on the right at all - meaning that money could also be spent providing several more million jobs.
Idiots.

9. No one mentions giving bigger tax cuts to employers who actually |
|
provide jobs to Americans in the US. That is the best way to go if you want to stimulate job growth, seems to me. That's not even discussed. I think Obama got that through in past stimulus packages. That's what he should press for. A tax cut for the rich in exchange for really creating jobs I can accept. But just continuing this giveaway that was conceived and adopted at a time of a budget surplus is ridiculous now that we have a budget deficit.
