1. Every interview I have seen since, Obama has said "Top 2% Tax Cuts Don't Work" |

He has NEVER defended the top 2% cuts since the deal was announced. He called the Republicans "hostage-takers" for insisting on them. His NPR interview he said they were worthless.
He's defended the middle class tax cuts, the education credits, etc. Middle Class Tax cuts has always been part of Democratic ideas and ideology. The notion being that Middle Class and Lower spend their tax relief on goods and services.
(Sorry my computer is too slow to watch the show, I guess I shouldn't be commenting. But I have seen this argument around here for a while, that he is "Buying Into Republican Ideology" Everything in the plan that is designed to give breaks and get money into the hands of 98% has been part of Democratic ideas/ideology for a good long while.

3. Democrats shouldn't be talking about cutting taxes at all. If you have one party |
|
that insist on tax breaks, while waging wars then someone will pay.

4. If Obama is this crazy about pushing GOP ideals and positions now |
|
imagine how rabidly the White House will be defending them once the newly elected repugs take their seats?

Love it, Cenk. Absolutely perfect.
My big question is why did Obama go behind the Democrats back to strike this awful deal without their input?
Bill Kristol on Fox 'news' Sunday, and Paul Gigot on "Meet the Press" both said the exact same thing with huge s#it-eating grins on their faces:
"We now have BOTH President Obama AND Bill Clinton DEFENDING the Bush Tax Cuts AND Bush's economic policies!"
