8. Roseanne you forgot to call him
the rocker from the D that nobody pays to see!!!!Bitch!!! He is a paid machine just as she spoke. I don't rally for Ms. Barr with some of the things she says, but this time she is right. And I would rather hear her off key singing the Star Spangled Banner than him in tune singing the Teabag anthem.

our own people's asses handed to them.

Sure Nugent is an idiot, but he won that exchange hands down.

What is wrong with you people?

11. so... CNN edited the video... gee, Did Barr tell too many truths
and evicerate the Koch Brother's con man? Ahhhh, yes she did. She called him out for the fraud he is. Hey tea bagging numb skulls, you are just tools of the wealthy and you fell for all the lies against the poor and your own middleclass. You allowed the wealthy to divide you from the rest of us, and now you work for the very people who put you into the situation you are in today. Fucking idiots!

15. RB
She came off as very bright and well informed on this. Plus, she did not angry or emotional. IF I were in her place, I would have tried to rip Ted's lungs out through his mouth.

I justposted some Zappa related comments on youtube. RB and TN have Frank Zappa in common.

18. I would like to see Wayne Kramer (of MC5) debate that teabagging string-plucker.
Mainly because he knows how the Nuge acted during the vietnam-war. As does every other musician from the Detroit rock-scene during the 60's.

23. TN is a washed-up rocker from the 60s and 70s
who appears brain damaged here. Not only b/c I disagree with him politically, but because of his facial movements and that weird habit of putting his hand out to shake the hand of the person whom he's talking to.

26. It's the same old right-wing song.
I have heard this my entire life from my family.

These people are so terrified that someone out there might be abusing the welfare system that they want to gut the entire social safety net for everyone!

It's as simple as that.

These people are, frankly, just fucking ruthless, and short-sighted to boot. Their entire mentality is "sink or swim", and "every man for himself". If you get sick, or injured, and you can't afford your own health care, you should just suffer those consequences. If you lose your job, you just must have been dead weight that is getting cut loose, or you were otherwise incompetent.

What all of these people miss is the simple, obvious truth: These things could happen to anyone, even them, hell, especially them.

I just cannot understand how they can be so vehemently against welfare for American citizens, but they have no problem with the United States of America spending as much as the rest of the world combined on military expenditures, mostly for wars that ostensibly benefit citizens of other countries! We all know that these wars are really for the monetary benefit of the military industrial complex, but even if you buy the party line about how it's for "freedom and democracy", it's still a huge welfare program for the citizens of other nations! And they are totally cool with that.

And then they'll tell you, "But we're safe!" Aside from the fact that that is bullshit, and we are not safe because all we've done is stir up the hornets' nest, why is it that the people who claim to be all for liberty and freedom are the ones who would conveniently ignore Benjamin Franklin when he said, "Those who would forsake essential liberty for a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety"?

According to CNN Money, 60% of bankruptcies in this country are because of medical bills. 80% of those people had health insurance and were middle-class, educated people. Ted Nugent's plumbers and welders and carpenters are going to be the first people to fall to this doom as medical costs continue to rise! And they don't see it!

I do not understand being so afraid of freeloaders that they have lost all compassion for anyone in need. These are the people most likely to espouse "Christian Family Values" and their attitude towards the poor is so un-Christ-like it makes me want to puke.

29. Layer after layer of irony
Another ironic thing about the teabaggers is their "survival of the fittest" standard.

Competing against the rest of the world, teabaggers would lose at pretty much every factor: intelligence, ability to do things, logical skills, math ability, etc etc.

They would excel in two areas - waistline size & freeloading ability (the Blue States support the Red States, tax-wise)

33. My personal lowlight of this debate
was when Nugent said something about how rich people put their lives on the line or risk their lives to create jobs, which also goes to show he has no idea about how anything works, let alone business and capital.
