She's the "easy lead" on a slow News day. You never have to go farther back than her last public sighting to find something so outrageous, ignorant, or just plain stupid that she has said. That makes for an easy story when you're looking for any way in the world to get out from under the typical "Man-bites-Dog" story that is everyone's last refuge for copy.

13. This isn't recent phenomena, and it's not limited to just what Bachmann says.

We're 30 years into the bullshit about Reagan what he accomplished as president. You hear media from everywhere paste the "fiscal conservative" label on Reagan and most of this country just nods like a bunch of bobbleheads without questioning the statement. Truth is, Reagan was the farthest thing we've had to a fiscal conservative in the last 100 years. You get the same response to claims he ended the Cold War, shrank the size of the federal government, was a family values conservative, supported gun control and opposed amnesty to illegal aliens.
