1. Anyone who thinks this shit isn't coming to a state near you
isn't paying attention. Ed pointed that out quite clearly last night. If this nutjob Walker gets his way, he'll be the next teabagging hero.

2. Rec'd
This assault on the working class must be stopped. First the public employees, then the private sector, finally the total collapse of America because nobody will have any money.

21. Assault
Yes, it is an assault. However, the two teachers on Ed's show are making $100.000 combined. I am a substitute teacher, have been for 7 years. I make $11,000 a year. It is hard for me to feel their pain. I am a senior citizen who has to work because my social security isn't enough and my retirement as a nurse had to go to my husband's nursing home care.

22. You are part time! Do you have a master's degree?
They are making a combined $100,000 a year. That's $50,000 each. What is an adequate salary for someone educating our children? You know, someone that has a master's degree. $50,000 is too much? Do you believe taking away from them will somehow raise your salary?

3. We need to orginize
rallies in all major cities in this country to protest the abuse of the middle class and poor. This is the only way we will stop this cancer from spreading. And even then it may be too late to stop.

4. Walker's, the dildo, strategy is to destroy workers' rights.
Period. conservanazis want to do away with workers' rights, workers' comp, and wages. So, a person will work on a conservanazi's promise of "I'll treat you right." Been there, done that. Walker is the darling of the tax bitchers from Milwaukee, stirred up by idiots like Charlie Sykes aka charlie psycho, and Mark Belling, another champion conservanazi dildo with a racist streak a mile wide.

Walker soon will take a path that will have the "free market" take over of Wisconsin government and we shall see a massive debt come upon Wisconsin beholding to Walker's bribers. He's a crooked bastard. He just has not been caught being really crooked yet. He was not at all popular with the labor force for Milwaukee County. However, Milwaukee County had a problem with the pension system which was very generous.

I had a lot of faith Mayor Tom Barret, mayor of Milwaukee, would have won the governor's seat. The conservanazi hate machine rails 24/7 in Milwaukee, demonizing any and all that don't hold on to the conservanazi party line.

Realize this: lots of white union members voted for this POS Walker. Some work for the state. Some will be getting what they deserve, but many will suffer. I read a post yesterday that the Teabaggin' KKKluckers were stationing buses to haul supporters to the big hearing in Madison to promote Walker's bu$hit. Progressives need to wake up and counter this guy. Especially the teachers. They are always uder assault by the conservanazis on hate radio in Milwaukee.

5. "Balancing the budge on the backs of the Poor! Great way to put it!
This needs to be the phrase we always use when talking about Republicans, however I would include "Middle Class" in the phrase.

7. Republicans ran on protecting your freedom
Your freedom to starve to death.
Your freedom to lose your house.
Your freedom to die of a medically curable condition.

This is GOP SOP. Anyone who is surprised by these actions is an idiot.

9. Of course he is trying to balance the budget on the backs of the poor,
and not only that, he admits it and he's proud of it. But don't think it's only Republicans doing this. For instance, Governor Brown in California wants to eliminate welfare aid for children after 48 months, among other things that will hurt the poor.

14. anyone that has free time to help hopefully will, and I know my friend who's never really gotten
involved into politic action groups is very angry about what her gov. is doing, and is going to start protesting with others soon.

It's so obvious that the poor and working class are being made to suffer so the rich can literally - maintain or increase their wealth - whereas the poor & working class have to suffer more...

12. GOOD JOB, ED!
I really appreciate the work Ed Schultz is doing: he's marshaling the fact together and coupling them with OUTRAGE in an attempt to wake up the American citizenry. More reporters need to take this approach in response to what's being done to the Middle Class. Simply delivering deadpan, brain-dead, split-the-difference reportage no longer cuts it. GO, ED!

13. Scott vs Scott... (WI & FL governors) totally shameful men, who care nothing about those who are
teaching the children and adults who are seeking education, and destroying the unions, and more importantly, stripping millions and millions out of the budget!

and YES, that governor sure as HELL sounded like he was threatening with the Nat'l Guard, my GOD in heaven!! Very dangerous line indeed!

These GOP bastards are crooks.

19. I wish I could K&R this a thousand times.
It is families like those Ed Schultz featured who are suffering so that greedy people on Wall Street and at the top echelons of international companies can have expensive lifestyles. This is not right for America. It just is not good. This diminishes the hope and the opportunities of most people here so that a few can thrive. We are creating a society in which antisocial behavior is rewarded and socially beneficial behavior is punished. That is downright stupid.
