2. it's a public service announcement (psa)
on behalf of PBS and all it's affiliates.. Congress is proposing to cut 100% of federal funding (CPB or Corporation for Public Broadcasting) which provides a small but important percentage of funding for all of PBS and NPR stations.

Personally, it simply amazes me that even the Right Wing doesn't appreciate the value of pbs.. but then that's just me...

4. Well like she said PBS is dedicated to learning
Something that Republicans are adamantly opposed to.

3. It is an eloquent appeal for support making your voice heard in support pf PBS.
She talks about how valuable PBS is to small children and their parents, the independent nature of the PBS network, and of providing a needed service to people who live in under served areas or who cannot afford cable or satellite service. It was good.

So call your local congress critter. Ours LOVES cutting out PBS and NPR. He is a sponsor of the bill. I'm calling his peeps. They won't like me much. But I will be very polite and civilized while questioning their patriotism and respect for our republic and the American people. They use the excuse that this is what the American people want. Ah huh. We have a state rep you has introduced a brownie law prohibiting the sale of MMJ laced edibles for patients who qualify for MMJ. She says that it is time to step forward and do the right thing even if people don't want it. Yes, it's that bad. Talk about nanny statists, she wins the prize.
