Gadhafi's son warns of civil war


The son of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi says protesters have seized control of some military bases and tanks.

Appearing on Libyan state television Sunday night, Seif al-Islam Gadhafi warned of civil war in the country that would burn its oil wealth.

And of course, nothing that has happened is the fault of the Ghadafis. It's all somebody else's fault.

Denial -- the first step toward failure. The Ghadafis will hold out for a while, but it sounds like they are not embracing rational change.

My guess would be that the family members and its supporters will begin to argue amongst themselves. That is how the country will become divided. He seems to foresee the way that the country will divide, but instead of uniting the country, his speech will further divide it. He is practically predicting the dark fate that his family very likely faces, except that he is blaming that fate not on his own family which is responsible for it, but on others.
