4. I don't think it's remotely realistic that a "CIA assassination team" would kill Assange.

At this point it's very difficult to believe that. Would the Mossad do it? Sure! They just don't give a shit. But Assange isn't going after Israel. One difference between the Mossad and the CIA is the CIA doesn't have the kind of support that the Mossad does and they are always mindful of the fact that they can get away with what they like as long as it doesn't bring too much heat down on them.

In the crazy of the world, however, I could see some Russian entity assassinating Assange and the CIA taking the blame for it because...nobody expects Russian hitmen. They'll get him at a Halloween party dressed in bear suits, with polonium-tipped blowdarts. Wait, that's not remotely realistic either. Sheesh!

I think Assange is going to fuck with countries behaving badly for a long time to come.

We have a long history in America of assassination of those who we disagree with, such as leaders of country's who don't tow the line, or those who cause us a problem. I hope that is not the case it but it is by no means over the top to consider it.
