Rep. Kate Knuth says "Next Generation Energy Act" Republicans are trying to repeal was put together by Democrats and Republicans and agreed to by Republican Governor Tim Pawlenty. In fact the former Governor was a leader on that issue. Since the act was passed in 2007, there is more evidence of climate of change and the science of climate change is stronger. Coal has become even more expensive.
The only thing that has changed is the viewpoint of Republicans, turning clean energy into a partisan issue. She says clean energy is creating jobs in Minnesota and is the future.
