1. Such displays are a direct result
of conservatives changing the tone in America. They do not want civil discourse. They want to force their "beliefs" on the general population even when their beliefs are consistently stumped by facts. They want to spread their ignorance and believe they have to shout to do so. Screaming and shouting is apparently the only way to attempt to communicate with the conservaive mind.

8. Free Speech........
Hooray!!! For the youth in this country.
They are the ones that need to take a
stand or they will not have any freedom
of speech left. You are so on the money
when you say the conservatives have changed
the moral beliefs of Americans. Oh my! they said
Fu-k. What shroud are these people living under
it is an everyday word. Bush himself has used it
Live without a net.

I wonder what the results would be if they had a poll on how many students approved of the message?

could be that miss barbie doll was one of very few that objected to the headline.

5. You have evidence that she is stupid but not that she is a bitch. I know many very nice stupid
people. The outcome of their stupidity (i.e., the election of BushCo.) is a bitch (actually a huge, stupendous, fucking bitch) but still, they are not. They are just stupid.

4. i watchec the exchange this morning between john roberts and mcswane.
roberts, who at one point long ago could have been the CBS star to succeed walter kronkite, was not more than a guilt/fear infusing megaphone this morning disrespecting mcshane's and the rest of america's freedom of speech, repeatedly asking mcshane the question, "do you think you will be able to keep your job?" making freedom of speech a crime and a sin all at once. WE should be the ones asking CNN, "should john roberts be allowed to keep his job after he so blatantly exposed the media's penchant for censorship?" ... More than asking, WE should be telling CNN, "John Roberts should not be allowed to keep his job at CNN, unless CNN admits that it has joined the BushCensorship Machine."

Great point....I thought the exact same thing. How
rude he was to McSwane. We need to get a petion going.
Asking if CNN are cronies of the administration? Start
ranking them with Fox News.

11. Speaking only for myself and as a resident of Colorado,
it's refreshing to hear the state associated with something upfront and honest, in stark contrast to the unrelenting smarm that emanates from Tancredo, Musgrave, Dobson, Haggard, etc. The use of the word was startling, but in all honesty, it's Bush's fault. After all, he's the one who's driven the citizenry (of which students are a part) to the point where that particular expletive is the perfect response to the massive FUBAR that is the Bush presidency. It's also the perfect descriptor for his legacy.

If our more prissily-minded citizens want to be outraged about an indecency, let them focus on the maladministration of George W. Bush.

From someone who was born and raised in Colorado but hasn't been back in many years. Always interested in what they're up to, though. :)

Good bullseye post!

12. What is more obscene, . . .
the words Fuck Bush or the death of our soldiers and of innocent Iraqi people so that Bush and his buddies can control the oil in Iraq? We have such bizarre ways of viewing things in this country. It is just a four letter word and not nearly as important as freedom of speech.
