Of all the bands I have ever watched live the White Stripes, all two of them, were the most impressive. Better than Nirvana and I saw Nirvana six times in the early nineties.

13. I'm Blown Away That...

...the White Stripes would be quoted on the floor.

I was introduced to the White Stripes by way of "Seven Nation Army" - My reaction to it was instantaneous. Raw, loud and driven.

I recently saw a documentary on them when they were touring Canada. At the end of the documentary, Jack and Meg were sitting at a piano. Jack played this incredible song while Meg sat by his side. For reason I still cannot explain, the song brought tears to my eyes as it did Meg.

Really, there are no words to describe this band. So, I won't.
