Do you believe Barack Obama is and has been leading and representing Progressives, Liberals and his base to the best of his ability?

Do you believe he has risen to the task of being a counter to the eight years of rubber stamped and Democratic enabled Bush Administration policy and pandemonium?

Do you really believe that he delivered a strong sense of purpose, determination and a no-nonsense commitment to Progressive and Liberal policy in the same way the Bush Administration did in its first few weeks for Right Wing policy?

Do you believe that Barack Obama took the best possible tact with Health Care reform and put people over profits?

Do you believe Barack Obama promoted health care reform and rallied Democrats to turn out the best reforms possible?

Do you believe that if Republicans won with the same percentages of victory as Barack Obama and that they had the majorities Democrats had, that they would have accomplished as little as Barack Obama and Congressional Democrats or more for their party?

Do you believe that a Republican minority is stronger than a Democratic majority?

Do you believe that "never" is a good time to criticize and demand more from Democratic candidates and leaders and that delivering criticism and demanding accountability means you support the other party?

That doesn't mean you own the Democratic party though. It doesn't meant that people who believe what you do are the only 'true' Democrats and everyone else is a 'Neodem.' There are differences of opinion on many issues and figures in the party. After all, this IS a two party system. In a different system, the Democratic constituency would be divided into a number of different parties - same thing with the Republicans.

You should probably start with a broader definition of what being a Democrat means, rather than arguing that you are the standard bearer and everybody else much rally to you if they are to be real Democrats.
