1. It's like the Matt Tabaii article about the fall of Wall Street. |

He described the situation as a giant vampire squid that sticks it's blood syringe into anything that smells like money. After it bled the general public dry of our last expendable dollar including our mortgages and pensions, they went after each other. In a series of swaps and fakes they drained many lending institutes of their resources and set us up for the biggest crash in history in terms of real dollars and cents.
Now having swallowed up the weak in takeovers and mergers, the money monster finds itself once again on the prowl, seeking to sate its lust for more and more. There is not upper limit on greed, and I don't believe it's just Goldman Sachs anymore because there's always more than one smart guy in the room when money's on the table.
There is no off switch. There is no way to slay a monster that rocks the cradle of government.
On edit: It was pretty cheesy the way Bashir shifted from differentiating between civil rights and class warfare to show the mandatory Donald Trump clip while asked West his opinion. He then shited seamlessly back to the issue for which West was invited on to discuss as if it hadn't happened.

3. Martin Bashir is a shifty creep anyway. |
|
ABC fired his ass. M$NBC should have never hired him. He's a crap reporter on every level. Shifty doesn't begin to describe it. He's a racist thug for one thing, a media assassin for another. Dirtbag.

6. Dr. Cornell West is one of the few people |
|
left (mainly from the age of early 1960's) who intelligently discern the big picture, what should be done for the majority of Americans and gets the exposure to do so. When Dr. West speaks of Indians, Latinos and the Black community, there seems to be an auto disconnect that runs through white peoples minds (I am white). Ironically, this population now makes up the majority of America. Yes, I can testify that many white people are also totally disenfranchised. Dr. West uses "big words", which has an alienating affect on many undereducated people also. I love Dr. West and his message of truth. IMO, the media uses Dr. West to fuel bigotry from ordinary, poor white folks. This makes his message seem absurd and slanted only to the black/hispanic communities. I believe his pattern of speech was more appropriate during the civil rights struggles of the 1960's but no less prescient today. It seems that they use Dr. West as the obligatory Progressive and know that his speech patterns (ie..brothers and sisters... we ARE all brothers and sisters in this class war) will not "play well" with the average white person, who have been hurt as badly by the oligarchs as anyone. The MSM controls the message this way. It seems to be "look, this black man is only worried about the perceived minorities." Fascism is an ugly thing and the Machiavellian ways used to present a message of truth to the American people is manipulated, as is all of media.

7. Dr. West is an intellectual but he forgot to mention |
|
the war includes the middle-class who are predominately white. I've heard him mention it on Real Time with Maher though.
