1. Social Security & budget deficit?

Social Security is funded directly by employee/employer payroll deductions. It does not contribute one red cent to deficits. Why does Obama even mention it in this regard? I think he has an agenda (wink, wink) to please his big corporate campaign contributors. He's done damn well by them so far.
