2. to strip the rights of public workers to bargain doesn't save any money
http://dandelionsalad.wordpress.com/2011/04/14/dennis-kucinich-takes-on-gov-scott-walker-on-union-busting/
Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) today scored an admission from Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker that his decision to strip the rights of public workers to bargain collectively “doesn’t save any” money for the Wisconsin taxpayers.

Kucinich was awesome!

taking away more Americans' rights in the process. SO which is it douchebags? Are you American or are you just a bunch of pimps and whores for the greedy few?

9. Excellent questioning by Kucinich, and I liked the way he
would not let Walker NOT answer the question. Also good for Kucinich for pointing out Issa's hesitency to enter his exhibit into the record. Dennis got Issa a bit rattled.

And I loved Kucinich's last statement, and the dumb look on Walker's face, wondering if he was being complimented or insulted?

'Gov. Walker has inadvertently brought this issue out into the open' (paraphrase). The issue of the corporate influence on our political system. He gives Walker credit for exposing the corruption, inadvertently of course!

Go Dennis!

29. Snap! The end statement was my favorite part, too. I transcribed it...
We're public servants who perform duties on behalf of the public, using resources that belong to the public.

Or, is the government going to be auctioned off to the highest bidder to corporations who privatize & inevitably drive up the cost of government, the cost of services, & drive up taxes?

That's where this debate is headed nationally.  I think Gov. Walker has inadvertently done a public service by exposing the extent to which this mindset of privatizing what is the public sphere, bringing this issue to the forefront.

So, thank you for being here, both governors.

30. Thank you for transcribing it. He's so right too, Walker
started a movement, only not the one he wanted, he started the one WE wanted, a Labor Movement and as Dennis says, he also is responsible for the exposure of the attempt to take over public funds and put them into private, corporate hands.

We have a lot to thank Walker for! I don't think he had a very good day!

32. He also in an aside, when he challenged Issa;
when Issa said he would reserve judgment on the placement of the doc in the record, said after the challenge "well I got it in anyway", by the mere fact of his challenge. Dennis is a smart man.

15. Scott Walker Has the Beadiest Eyes of Any High School Graduate I Have Seen
Perhaps all are not aware that Scott Walker is a "college kick-out". You really can't call Walker a "drop-out" since he was kicked out for cheating.

Cheating seems to be something that interests Walker a lot.

26. Really? A Kick out? I did not know that.
He does have beady eyes, but the way his mouth slacks open all the time takes away any of their effectiveness.

18. Walker, Issa and most Republicans
Edited on Thu Apr-14-11 07:27 PM by sulphurdunn
are jaded pigs. Rush Limbaugh, their uber fuhrer, even physically resembles a pig. There's more than a bit of symbolic "Animal Farm" irony in that reality. These Christo-Libertarian pigs only purpose seems to be to stick their snouts in the public trough and squeal about "free enterprise" and the virtues of avarice and oppression of the weak when they come up for air.

No offense to the species Sus domesticus is intended by this diatribe, nor is any intended toward Christians who actually practice the teachings of the Nazarene.
