The sickness that is the current global monetary system has its roots in the structures that make it up. Throw the deep, deep systemic blame at the true sources. The modern USA's problems stem back from a century of economic over-arching policies starting in 1913, not 1980.
In the USA the beating heart of the tumour is the central bank that has overall control of the monetary system, the Federal Reserve, a privately-owned (via non-transferable subscription stock in its Regional Reserve Banks) malignancy that allows and aids the attack dogs of the systemic controllers.
These attacking hordes are the public face of the financial raping, and include not only the biggest banks such such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, BOA, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, New York Mellon, etc, but also the legion of hedge funds, rating agencies, and other entities who's primary weapon is sovereign debt bond market manipulation. Just ask Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Portugal, Spain, etc what this means.
The same owners/controllers of these financial terrorists are also the holders of Fed's subscription stock, with the largest single holder being the Bank of England. The City of London is the global epicenter of this incredibly dense, convoluted, multi-layered web of indirect/direct control, oversight, and influence. The transnational tumours include the ECB (European Central Bank), the IMF, Bank of China (not as controlled, but still in the penumbra), Bank of Japan (the guarantors are the Japanese people, not private bond holders), the World Bank, OECD, G-20, G-7, Inter-Alpha Group (Private Banks)etc. At the top of this genocidal pyramid sits the BIS (Bank of International Settlements), the Central Bank's central bank.
If a true, deep, clear-cut audit of the Fed and its ilk in the global web of debt and control were done, and the results were factually not only reported and analyzed, but also disseminated via the multi-media machine (at all levels, including the pop culture arena) into the world's collective zeitgeist, the ensuing crimes against humanity trials would span a decade or more.
Unfortunately, because this system controls most of the worlds major nations sovereignty through debts and political tentacles of oversight (look at whence the people running the US and the world regulatory bodies come from, tis the same pit of vipers), it also controls the levers of power, especially the militaries, and this will prevent a true accounting, an actual call to judgment for the acts of the oligarchs that have killed and enslaved well over one 150 million of the planet's masses in just the last century.
