GOP Senate candidate Jamie Radtke explained why she's against the government setting a minimum wage. Michael Shure and Wes Clark discuss. (Radtke is running in Virginia and challenging Tim Kane for the retiring Jim Webb's US Senate seat.)

1. From her logic, might it make more sense to have a MAXIMUM wage for execs when times are bad?
Hey, wouldn't they get MORE money from doing that and still be able to hire more workers then at our current minimum wage?

Dumb b***!

2. She's right actually. When times are good, some companies
CAN afford to pay their workers a little more, so they send them home, and ship the jobs overseas. Then times are REALLY good! Yay! Everybody wins. She's not tea party, she's all republican.

paid $1 per hour, it would take the employee over an hour to earn enough money to buy a quart of milk or a Coke. The employee would have to work the entire morning just to buy a lunch (a cheap one) at McDonalds.

This woman is completely bonkers.

A pair of shoes from the cheapest shoe store would take 20 hours -- a half a week if you are lucky enough to get a full-time job.

I once took a test which included math and English -- to get a certificate to become a substitute teacher. Of course, I had to have at last a college degree in addition to passing the test.

I think we should ask candidates for Congress to take a basic arithmetic test. Clearly this candidate cannot even count much less figure out a simple budget.

You've got to be kidding.
