Republicans want a large government, they just want a corporate-controlled one that serves an entirely different purpose. For the proof, look at legislation the GOP is currently passing at state and federal levels.

An ideal Republican government:
- No middle-class. Rich and poor only.
- No workers rights, unions, 40-hour work week, child labor laws, etc.
- No equal pay or minimum wage.
- No regulation on corporations, big business, banks, Wall Street, etc.
- No social programs (SS, Medicare, Medicaid).
- No taxes for wealthy, corporations, etc.
- Women, blacks, hispanics, asians, gays, jews, muslims, atheists, agnostics, buddhists, etc. are 2nd-class citizens and should know their place.
- Different political ideologies would NOT be tolerated.
- Corporations would control ALL media (newspaper, TV, Radio, Internet)
- Wars to implement corporate-sponsored dictators in every country possible.

He makes more sense than most potential Presidential candidates on the right, but he also makes more sense than 90% of all the talking heads on TV.
