1. I can see both advantages and disadvantages to this form of tracking ... |
|
while it might help solve missing persons cases and crimes, it could be also be misused by government or by a politician to discover embarrassing information.

She seems to be doing a great job. She could easily have her own show on a major network. But Like Cenk, I like them better when they have the freedom of their own broadcasting.

3. Now do you see why the cops are now.... |
|
downloading peoples phone data when stopped for a traffic situation. I've heard that thats what they are doing now. Cops have purchased devices to download any phone in seconds.....remember that scene from the Bourne Identity when Jason knocked out the CIA guy and copied his phone in seconds... that shit is real. No Apple products in my house...not now not ever.

4. Almost every phone on the market has at least some of that info. |
|
Less than 5% aren't able to be downloaded by that clone/recovery tool. Many will store geocache info with tweets, texts, etc.
This is just one shoe dropping. Watch the story over the next two weeks, now that us nerds are suddenly a lot more interested in what our phones are doing.
Some of the phones even store a SIM history, so if you use a 'throwaway' sim card tied to a different phone number, they can extract that history.
