3. Seems to me they're sitting around
with their thumb up their ass waiting for the GOP to quit stealing elections.

YOUR OWN FUCKING BASE HAS EXPONENTIALLY OUTNUMBERED THE TEA PARTY BASE in every public instance.

Preach it, you stupid idiots.

6. Because it is a game of good cop bad cop.
And that has been effective for a long time....
The thing we don't understand about it is that they both work for the same people....but one is the bad guy and the other puts his hand on your shoulder and tells you he knows how you feel....triangulation moves the ball down the field.

10. As an Australian I am fairly ignorant of American history but....
wasn't original tea party a fairly spontaneous event that
then grew into a revolutionary movement.
THIS tea party seems to think that they are a self sustaining
political movement. They are in reality a disparate group with
few ideas for real change motivated by dog whistle politics.
They seem now to be fatigued and not know what to do next
because they had few ideas to be begin with .

We had a similar movement called One Nation in the 1990's . It
did take about a decade to die out but their phenomena and
influence are still commented on by political pundits.

The Tea Party, like a bad curry, will pass. The greater
question will be how to attract the young to progressive
causes to build society not divide it.
