1. We Got A Copy of This in Our Department Head Meeting
IN the City I work for. Our Council has informed us this is the way to go. Sounds good on the surface but when you look under the hood it leaves a lot lacking.

2. Affluent suburb of Atlanta

The idea probably works OK because it's a small suburban place, people work in Atlanta and use the socialist roads others pay for. There's arguments on both sides. Life is definitely better if you live in an affluent place and you don't have to share with areas that have poor people.

3. Okay, this gives us the glowing reports by the founders of this model,
what are the down sides? I could think of a couple - can the police afford to live in their own jurisdiction? Can the corporation pay their employees enough to live there or do they have to use Fulton County roads to get to work? How much lower is their pay?

4. It's easy to run the thing like a big ole plantation. Subcontract the jobs to
companies who hire part time minimum wagers. Have your overseers crack the whip and things get done mighty fine. This is not the free market at work this is affluence hiring their work staff.

5. LOL, indeed. It gets much clearer in the last minute or so of the video but...
...while the "Sandy Springs" model may be adopted by others it's silly to imagine that without the affluent citizens it would work.

BTW, isn't it an interesting thing to think about who paid to produce this video? I don't know who it is, but it's an interesting question.
