Just because any thinking person knows that this is about publicity doesn't mean that it is right.

I don't know Lawrence O'Donnell's background, and I don't think I care all that much. He seems pretty smart. I like what he says. Did he have different political views in the past? Again, I don't know. But polls here on DU have indicated that many have had different political views in the past.

And aren't you engaging in the same form of "baiting" when you make unsupported assertions about O'Donnell as Trump has done about the president? Aren't you playing the same "just sayin'" or "just askin'" game of Beck and his ilk. That has no place in this community.

Matt, I'm not "baiting" anyone. If you read my post you would have seen that I gave my opinion..."IMO".., neither did I make any "unsupported assertations"...again, I gave MY opinion.
I do appreciate you informing me and others, exactly what does not have a place in this community. I was under the impression that this was a forum to express one's views and inform others of (mainly) political developments. I have my opinions, just like every member of this community and this world.

I don't think he's "all" about publicity. I don't know where you get that. (Wishful thinking?) What... do you perceive him as some kind of Palin? or Coulter? If you cannot recognize intelligent analysis even when mixed with a little presentational outrage to drive it home, then watch Fox. This was no word salad.

I like that he pointed out the absurdity of NBC's Entertainment Dept withholding important campaign info from the News Dept because they're scared of Donald Trump.
And the racist overtones of Trump's blathering.
