This clip is way too revelatory of Palin's character to let it go by without a serious note.

Palin is mean. That was the characteristic that was most obvious from her first big appearance at the Republican Convention upon her nomination, and she hasn't gotten any kinder since.

Mean, like a grown-up Heather, mean like someone who elbows you in the ribs to get the last can of pumpkin on the shelf the day before Thanksgiving, mean like the person who dashes into the parking place you've been waiting for someone to leave. Mean. Ungenerous. Selfish. Dissmissive. Mean.

And that's a very unattractive trait for a politician, and will continue to limit her career, thankfully.
