The purpose of this video is to gives some facts and figures of how Unions have and are helping working America. This is especially important in the day when Organized Labor is under attack. This video is based on a report at the http://www.epi.org/publications/entry/briefingpapers_bp143/ Economic Policy Institute, called “How unions help all workers” This report is far more informative than the video, with many table graphs. To include all this information in a video would have made it three times as long. Our hope is that this video will inspire some to explore the data in the report. It is clear that Organized Labor or Unions have made life better for the majority of Americans. With all the attempts to destroy Unions, those attempts should alarm all, for without Unions the life standards of most Americans would deteriorate. For without Organized Labor, America would not be a good place to live for all but the extreme rich. 1. Essentially the unions give the worker a voice. Make sure they work in safe conditions,

have retirement, health care and education. Corporations have been challenged to the point of using violence to stop any voice that speaks of workers rights. To vote against unions is to vote against progress...

But, in the vid, it seems that it is manipulated to appear as if these people are actually speaking.

There are plenty of Union members who will gladly tell you these facts and how the Union has positively affected their lives.

Is this video a construct? If so, why? That makes us look bad.

3. The post under the video told

The post under the video told that it was based on the EPI report. As to the video it's self, I made it with very little cash in hand. My hope was to tell the facts that you will not here in the media. If anyone would like to see better quality I would suggest emptying their pockets and hiring a professional. Until then, I we continue making videos with my limited resources. Just a point to note for an critic, this video represents three weeks work non-stop. Which is pretty good to produce this length of an animation.

I am not a "critic." I did not notice the message under the video. You did a wonderful job. The words were very true. I am a Union member. I would almost guarantee you that if you approached the Carpenters Union in your area, they would supply you with dozens of volunteers who would happily say these things for you to record. Most of us worked non-union for varying lengths of time (15 years for me), so we really appreciate our Union. Thanks again.
