1. I'm familiar with a suicide case where

the cops never spoke with the victims parents, siblings or other family - who the victim had a close relationship with - even though the cops documented that the surviving spouse was having an affair and stood to gain $$$$$ in life insurance. Also, there was no autopsy or gunshot residue test of the victims hands. They did do a toxicology test which showed no drugs and a blood alcohol level below that required to be legally impaired.
