1. I popped this video onto a conservative......... |
|
message board yesterday morning. The poor folks over there are having fits over it still. I wonder why conservatives always vote against their financial interests??

5. Well..don't ya know..... |

progressives want to eat the rich! The first few posts were anti-clinton. The next few posts were the eating the evil rich thing. They are now on blaming the democratic party, Wilson, and FDR for all our problems. I expect that the "Obama is a Communist" posts will become cemented into the thread by this evening.

6. I have always heard that the rich are tastier |
|
than the poor. Better quality food in means better quality meat.
I have become totally amazed that the conservatives I talk to do not realize how low historically the taxes are for the rich. I was called a liar for saying that there have been times when the rate was above 90%. Ignorance is one of the most serious problems that we encounter.

- The economy doubles since 1980, but wages flat. Where did the money go…
- All (or most) of the gains went to the super rich. And…
- With money comes political power. Taxes on super rich slashed, revenues evaporate. This leads to…
- Huge budget deficits. Middle class agitated, fights for scraps…
- Middle class divided. Buying and borrowing slow. Resulting in:
- Anemic recovery/economy.
