This is John Boehner's angry, loud House floor speech from Friday if you haven't seen it yet. Reads in part:

My colleagues I can tell you that i have worked with the President and this administration since this begining of this year to avoid being in this spot. I have offered ideas, I have negotiated. Not one time, not one time did the administration ever put any plan on the table. All they would do is criticize what I put out there. I stuck my neck out a mile to try to get an agreement with the President of the United States…I stuck my neck out a mile.

And I put revenues on the table in order to try to come to an agreement to avert us being where we are. Well a lot of people in this town can never say yes. A lot of people can never say yes. This house has acted. And it is time for the administration and time for our colleagues across the aisle, put something on the table! Tell us where you are!

Of course, Boehner's lying, and his fellow obstructionist cheerleaders just love it!

I told the President what we wanted and he wouldn't give in, he gave a lot, but I wanted everything. For my kids its all or nothing. The important people will believe what I say and think it is true the rest who know the truth I don't care about anyway.

5. The Dems and White House had better STRONGLY and REPEATEDLY answer this!

This is becoming the story....that the W.H. hasn't turned in a plan. A steady drumbeat by various Republicans...the dogs sent out over the waves on every major network and cable station.

This is what they do and why they so often win public arguments, even though they should lose based on the facts.

Where are the Dems? They should be flooding the airwaves with an answer to this, and drumbeating their OWN story.

If they don't, this will become the surreal reality in the future. That Obama didn't even give Congress a plan, when the country was faced with defaulting on its debt and causing catastrophe.
