If anything, the student should sue all four officers in civil court. If no one else is willing to do anything, he should at least do this.

thanks for the link to the video, OP, and Aya, you're right, civil court because CLEARLY, after the initial tazering (if that was EVEN appropriate, which I don't believe it was) they should have carried him out, instead they belittled and kept yelling at him to stand up in between as few as four more tazings, when they were the ones with the power, and should have carried him outside to await real cops to take him to the police station to be questioned.
this is yet another black eye on cops. this incident is the norm and it's just this event was captured on video. tazers are used everyday and its high time we did something about tazerhappy torture-thug-cops.
