the only thing that will get their attention, as short as it may be, is a draft. A war with Iran will invoke a draft by nessesity since anyone serving right now will go AWOL if their time in the field is extended much more. Also, you can't continue to abuse the troops and not get fragged eventually. The co's better start watching their asses. Bring on the draft!

As long as we still hire mercenaries, there will never have to be one. Putting us in debt into infinity and beyond!!! That is certantly easy to ignore. Look at the way they ignore the credit crisis for their own education!!

Well, it's not like any other large age group of people is acting like we are in a war. Just a very small minority of each. Why should the students? They are numb and feel like they are immune.
