The EcoOutlaw is the first American-made motorcycle to offer a flex-fuel option, able to run on E-85 ethanol as well as gasoline.More Info @ www.ecooutlaw.com

Whilst many people rightly laud Al Gore`s environmental achievements, what is not known is Al Gore was inspired in no small way by Dennis Weaver`s pioneering Environmental work ( www.ecolonomics.org ), meeting with Dennis on numerous occasions, including visiting Dennis` 100% environmentally ranch, known as the Earthship ( www.dennisweaver.com ).

When Dennis crossed in 2006, his legacy was picked up by a group of people (ourselves included) , who formed American Green Holdings www.americangreenholdings.com (Dennis` wife, the remarkable Gerry Weaver is still active) and embraced Dennis` philosophy. This year AGH announced its stunning new all-american made motorbike, called The Ecooutlaw.

On October 24 2007 AGH will launch www.bidforgreen.com , an all green online marketplace . They have also launched Bid For Green Touring , which helps touring musicians fuel their tour busses with biodiesel. Already on board are Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and many more.

The next stage is the development of a green community called Ecooutlaw (launching in Jan 2007) .

Bid For Green will be proud sponsors of the EMA awards to be held in LA on October 24 - http://www.ema-online.org /

We continue to help green causes and have recently completed a movie for Climate Counts www.climatecounts.org called Unstoppable, however our collective efforts to help unite business and the community is simply furthering the ideas and legacy of that great humanitarian, Dennis Weaver.

Peace

A hybrid is a vehicle which runs on half electricity and half gas. It would be very difficult to do with a motorcycle b/c where would you put a battery big enough ?

EcoOutlaw is the first motorcycle available as a flexfuel, meaning it doesn`t need gasoline. It can run on ethanol (e85) or gas and alcohol (read: tequila) mix. If you could always find E85 it would not ever have to touch gas

So, you want a bike that requires electricity and gasoline to run, rather than a machine that doesn`t require either, thus resulting in lower usage of fossil or non renewable fuel.

Makes sense I guess.:sarcasm:

Peace

5. At the moment they are a small US manufacturing company
Making bikes to order. The reality being, that as the company grows, it hopes to establish a US manufacturing plant, which in turn should bring prices down. I know the company is currently building 4 Biodiesel plants in the US as well.

I think their long term aim is to get the bike prices down to match a Harley :)

Peace
