Randi stated she initially sent out like 4 word e-mail to Air America stating 'she was mugged' ..... even though she at the time had no idea what happened to her. I can understand why she would do that considering the pain she was in and had more pressing matters to attend to at the time. I'd of probably done the same thing.

So the person sitting in for Randi that night ..... Eliot? ..... Went off the E mail Randi sent. He too can be exonerated in this, just reporting what Randi E'd.

As to WTF happened to Randi that night ....... Duh know? Will say this, hope Randi gets a brain scan, make sure all is okay up there physically, see a specialist. That kind of fall, and impact, damage done to the front of the face .... would have had to had quite the brunt force in the back of the head, torso to cause that kind of damage you would think ..... if it was an assault. Randi didn't report any injuries of this type. So that leads me to believe she fainted. Then again she could have been shoved and doesn't remember?

Anyway she's done with it, and this incident doesn't seem to be impeding her from speaking truth to power. On a side note. Mike Malloy packs heat/concealed carry and lets it be known. Peace.

I think something bad happened and she just cannot remember. Or she is scared into thinking she can't. She is a icon. I love her. She speaks the truth for millions and we should all appreciate her more.

25. totally not uncommon to not recall events surrounding an injury

As most of you have said, thankfully she's going to be ok and she's still got that Randi spirit that we know and love. I do hope they will be able to piece this together and find it was nothing serious -- a drop in blood sugar or even if it was just a rude asshole jostling her from behind -- just so she can have peace of mind about the whole incident and be reassured that it doesn't indicate some serious medical condition.

I started falling on my face and experiencing extreme origin vertigo in early 2006. In the middle of July I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. My mom had it too. Usually it doesn't kill you, but you have to be really careful. For me, I had to end my career at 53 because I could no longer concentrate at my CAD designer's job.

Don't be brave and stoic. I'm a really strong person, but I didn't f**k around with this one and I'm glad I didn't.

I'd been healthy all my life until I passed out. The doctor discovered a brain aneurysm and AVM. I wasn't even diagnosed until 4 days after it happened so because of delay, a lot of damage was done. 3 operations later and I still never recovered completely. That was 7 years ago and in my late 30s.
