Look, I put this video up on YouTube about a month ago. And when we won the House and Senate ... I was looking forward to the day I could just take it down, I really was. But who knows what a day may bring forth .... anyway it’s more relevant today then a month ago …… and it puts the blame on this insanity where it truly belongs, not on Charles Rangel but on the Bush Regime. The Lyrics are on the YouTube Link and I would appreciate it voted up there and passed on to the Kids, Our Military, and whomever else this insanity affects: THAT WOULD BE ALL OF US, and that’s what Rangel is saying. Some of us might not agree with this chess game, I personally never have liked playing games with kids lives, and I never will. But they are going to play this game with or without our participation, that’s the reality. I’ll post the lyrics here also, and if you don’t like punk rock... please again pass it on to your kids anyway, it’s their generation (and our military) that we’re trying to reach, and help save. 1. Damn I post this Video at 10:00 this morning here on DU ....

do a days work up in L.A. ..... drive down to San Diego ..... and it gets 1 vote, and no comments here in the Video Forum (oops political video forum) ;) ...... what is one to do for the cause? It took me like 1 1/2 weeks to create and if it ain't relevant today then nothing else is. Wo well ..... I'll give it a shameless kick for more exposure and add this from the NNS website on creating this video ........

"It is our belief that America is still too ‘relaxed’ and needs to be kept ‘entertained’ now-a-days to really begin to
pay attention to just about anything anymore. And on that premise we created this Video. Not to ‘preach to the
choir’ (to those of us that are convinced the Iraqi war, and soon Iran?... has nothing to do with terrorism) but to
attempt to gain the attention of a few more Patriotic Americans like ourselves to end this unjustified war. To
remind a few more Americans of the old adage “those that forget history are condemned to repeat it” that there
is “nothing new under the sun” .... and wisdom is justified of all her children.

If we offended a ‘serious nerve’ by our at-times-sarcastic video so be it. We all know ’War’ is a serious
subject. And there are plenty of graphic images online out there in cyberspace for those of us that care to
really go find out for ourselves the truth of what is taking place in Iraq. Truth is not mysterious, it is what it is,
and it requires no ‘spin’.

As more time passes it becomes clearer for those paying attention that this occupation of the middle east also
has nothing to do with defending our freedoms here at home as those same freedoms are being eroded in
some OrwelliIan non fictious world by the present administration. Americans aren’t stupid when given the facts
and when they care to pay attention. To defend our Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic,
and not take these freedoms for granted is another thing Americans need to begin to think about. To keep
silent is un-patriotic, to descent peacefully yet forcefully and in numbers to the side of truth is our duty and our
right. When those freedoms go away, who you going to blame? Apathy? Ignorance? Lets hope not....." -snip-

I'll just end this post with this ...... our Millitary is Broken, and something has to give. But Killing innocent people in a forign Country which has done us no harm .... is NOT what I consider "Serving your Country". That's just more rhetoric. Yea I'd go in a heartbeat if called against an enemy that really threatened my family, friends, neighborhood, city, state, or The United States Of America. You tell me when that happens and I'll be there along with probably most of you on DU. But until then I'd rather fight for getting the truth out there. Peace. M.
