3. Representative Davis was my favorite |
|
He was prepared and he was concise. He got his point across clearly. Tanner looked really incompetent against Representative Davis.

he is unrelenting to the witnesses! He does a wonderful job at getting to the facts.

Davis was born in Montgomery, Alabama, and was raised by his mother and grandmother. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University in 1990 and cum laude from Harvard Law School before returning to Alabama. At HLS, he was also the recipient of the Best Oralist Award in the esteemed Ames Moot Competition. After working as an intern at the Southern Poverty Law Center and then as a civil rights lawyer, he served as an assistant United States Attorney.

8. This is it - seven years of Bush & Friends in seven minutes K&R |
|
Finally - FINALLY, someone gets it.
After seven miserable years of spin, rhetoric and fact-free crap, at least one member of the House understands the fundamental question - "Do you know ANYTHING about what you're talking about?"
And that member of the House asks, and asks, and asks and asks again, until his witness finally, falteringly reveals that he doesn't know the first damn thing about the subjects on which he expounds so loftily, but instead, just makes up the stuff as he goes along.
I wish every member of this boatload of clowns was held to the same simple standard every time they appear on the Hill - "Do you, or do you not, know what you're talking about?" And keep asking, and asking, and asking again until you get answers.

9. The truly frightening possibility is that Tanner made those comments on purpose |
|
because he was to be called as a witness to the Committee. They are, after all, still busily covering up stealing the Presidency. That should have been the focus of this hearing, not what Tanner said recently.
The important matters to investigate were sidelined by the clever ruse, saying something outrageous and stupid. Well, you don't go to jail for that, but you sure can distract from the stuff that will get you locked up, or your boss thrown out of the White House.
