Farewell speech?

1. Not a farewell speech. Notice how Napolitano avoids mentioning George W. Bush.

In his version, BUSH didn't sign the Patriot Act.

"The Patriot Act was signed into law" by some unnamed person.

The Patriot Act is the fault of the "power-hungry bureaucrats in DC." Not Bush, not Cheney, not Senators, not Congressmen, but those darn bureaucrats (unelected officials), according to Napolitano.

I'm really confused by this video.

I agree with the person who said it's the repubs getting ready to get rid of the patriot act as soon as there's a democratic president. I'm willing to bet any dem voted in will be happy to get rid of it but the repubs want to take no credit for instituting it and all the credit for getting rid of it... lol cake and eat it too.

I found it fairly laughable that the guy mentioned franklin's line.. err at least I've always heard it quoted as from benjamin franklin, I could be wrong. He acted like he made it up.

Something disturbing about seeing a foaming-at-the-mouth republican/fox news dude taking a dem speech about rights and adding "god given" in there and taking credit for the whole thing. egh.
